Over the weekend 'Oculus Story Studio' premiered a new 12-minute cinematic virtual experience at Sundance, of course using the Oculus Rift headset.
The short, titled 'Dear Angelica', is about a young girl whose actress mother dies. She watches her old VHS movies as a way to reconnect with her lost mother.
The film pushes the boundaries on virtual reality storytelling. It's the first animated movie that has been drawn entirely within VR.
This is an incredibly exciting step for narrative VR. It shows another layer of potential for marketeers wanting a fresh and exciting way to use VR.
