Animating walk cycles in 2D can be complicated from time to time, however when transferring the animating skills over to 3D it can be difficult.

3D animation doesn’t require drawing, instead characters are posed like puppets.  The animating process is more similar to stop-motion than 2D, however the principles we learn from 2D animation still apply. 

As mentioned above, 3D animation is all about posing.  We have to make sure that all the poses that iMe is in are clear and precise, so that viewers understand what the character is doing.

We also need to aware of 3D space.  Unlike 2D we have to make sure this piece of animation looks great from every angle.
