Georges Schwizgebel is a Swiss animator who's won many awards for his work.  I hadn't came across him before, at least not knowingly, but after seeing this animation today I love his work.  Created in 1985, '78 Tours' (a reference to the old 78 rpm records) is an animation which showcases multilayered animation.

It tells the story of a man reliving his memories whilst sat in his kitchen drinking coffee and listening to the radio, perhaps the song prompting his recollection of things. It's a beautiful blend of many different scenes on a warm summers day, constantly morphing from one to another in a smooth movement.  Watching the way the animation has been created is almost mesmerising.
