‘Heavyweights’ is a Disney family film that first arrived to cinemas in 1995, starring a few well-known faces like Ben Stiller and Paul Fieg (who went on to direct films such as ‘Bridesmaids’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ 2016)

The story is about a weight-loss summer camp, Camp Hope, that offers to help kids lose weight whilst having fun. However upon arrival the original owners found themselves in bankruptcy which forces them to sell the entire Camp Hope complex to a crazy ex-fitness instructor called Tony Perkis (portrayed by Ben Stiller). Fuelled by his fathers money he turns what was a pleasant summer camp into a hardcore fitness bootcamp, in hopes to document and film all the campers weight-loss to turn it into an infomercial for financial gain.

Although the plot of the film seems simple, the screenplay is executed flawlessly and makes the film highly quotable and unforgettable.
